Resume screening as a service

You have 200 applications.
Send them to us and get back the eight worth calling.

Paste the job description, upload the resumes you have already received, and say how many people you want to end up with. We read every application against the role and send back a ranked shortlist — with the evidence for each person quoted from their own resume, and everything we could not prove marked as unproven.

No account to create. No software to learn. One position per assignment, up to 200 applications.

The whole thing, end to end

  1. 1

    Tell us the role

Paste the description. Add anything that really matters.

  2. 2

    Check the rubric

We draft the criteria. You correct them before anybody is read.

  3. 3

    Send the applications

Drag in the PDFs. Nothing to name, sort or rename.

  4. 4

    We screen them

Every applicant, against the same criteria, in the same way.

  5. 5

    You get the shortlist

Ranked, with evidence, and with the gaps named.

Step two is the one that makes the difference, and it takes about a minute. The criteria are fixed before a single resume is opened, so everybody is measured against the same standard — and the standard is one you approved.

Why you can act on it

A screening service is only worth having if you can trust the output enough to stop reading the pile yourself. Three things make that possible, and all three are the kind of promise you can check.

Every claim is quoted

When the report says somebody has run a migration, it shows you the sentence from their resume that says so. Quotes are checked against the document before you see them — if the words are not in the file, the claim does not make it into the report.

The ranking is arithmetic

Nobody is ranked by a model's opinion. Each criterion carries the weight you gave it, each verdict carries a fixed value, and the order falls out of that. Run it twice and you get the same list, in the same order, for reasons you can read.

Nobody is rejected

A resume that does not mention a requirement is a resume that does not mention it — not a person who lacks it. Those applicants are listed with the specific gap, so you can take two minutes over the ones worth a second look. Every applicant appears somewhere.

What the report actually says

Four answers, and “we cannot tell” is one of them

Most screening tools give you a number between 0 and 100 and leave you to guess what it knows. For every requirement, against every applicant, this says which of four things is true of the document in front of it.

Shown
They describe doing the thing, and here is the sentence where they describe it.
Claimed
They assert it with nothing behind it. A skills list saying “Kubernetes” is a claim; a migration onto it is evidence.
Unclear
The resume gestures at it and a careful reader could not decide. Worth one question on a first call.
Not mentioned
The document says nothing about it. We do not take that as proof they cannot do it, and neither should you.

Built for the round you are running now

This is for you if

  • One open role has brought in more applications than anybody has an afternoon for.
  • The requirements are real and specific, so there is something to screen against.
  • You would rather hand over a task than adopt a system.
  • You want to see why somebody is on the list, not just that they are.

It is not for you if

  • You want an applicant tracking system. This replaces an afternoon, not your pipeline.
  • The role has no written requirements — there would be nothing to measure.
  • You need somebody rejected automatically. We will not do that.
  • You are hiring one person from four applications. Just read them.

These are other people's resumes

Applicants gave them to you, not to us, so we hold as little as possible for as short a time as possible. The uploaded files are never stored — only the text we need to check a quote against. That text is deleted after 30 days automatically, or the moment you press the button; the report keeps working, because the quotes worth keeping are already in it.

An assignment is reachable only with its link and its key. The link alone opens nothing, which is what makes it safe to have a link at all.

One position. One batch. One shortlist.

Bring the applications you are already sitting on. The first assignment is on us, because the only way to find out whether the shortlist is any good is to read one.
